Kingdom Hearts: How shall I compare thee to a summers day?

I was playing Kingdom Hearts II the past few days. Man, while this game is by no means perfect, it is a pretty awesome game, nonetheless. The cool this about it is that it borrows a lot from the previous installment. New comers don't really need to worry too much about missing the first one either, because KH II gives you a quick updated of what's going on. Although some will fill like they are missing out, though. I should mention that Kingdom Hearts isn't a kidding game, and that it's filled with some pretty cool moments, too. Donald can get pretty annoying, but, yeah, well, that's to be expected with a voice like that. Anyway, the first KH, imo, has to have one of the most touching endings I've seen in a video game. The first time I watched the ending *** SPOILERS ***
and seeing Kire tear up when she saw what Sora drew in the secret cave, man, that's some good stuff.

The song that played at the ending fit the mood perfectly, too. If only more games delivered this kind of quality....

KHI was okay but I didnt get very far into KHII at all until I was like "This is the SAME GAME!"

I mean if they used different worlds and characters MAYBE I would have enjoyed it a bit more...

Sucks because I paid $80 on the pre-order and the limited edition strategy guide.

I bought KH1. Only ever played up to the obstacle course which is before the game even really starts. So I have no idea if I should like it or not. I ended up loaning it to somebody and never heard from him again.

I loved KH 1, but KHII recycled too many worlds and generally made me angry. The Little Mermaid world made me want to shoot myself in the face. @_@

On the upside, suddenly the annoying and jerky Riku who sucked all kinds of suck grew up to be kind of hot. >_> Hmm.

A-yep. Just the mere notion of this garbage game set me off back in the day. But everyone was too busy drooling over it to think properly.

Blitzballstar still owes me money for our "Nixon will play kingdom hearts eventually" bet. Bastard.
