Does anyone know of a good US based proxy server?
I'm not talking about the pissy online ones where you type in a URL and you can get around a highschool site blocker, I'm talking about an actual server address that I can give access to port 80 (or 8080) on several of my client software so I can access items available only in the states.
I have software to test out any address so don't bother feeding me any ****.
I hate how my default gateway's ip address is Japanese but I'm on ****ing U.S territory. Redirects me to the Japanese equivalent to every major site.
That and Rhapsody (which I'm ****ing paying for) won't let me access their online content from their Real Networks client because of such.
Bull****.
Here's my ipconfig/all readout if you're curious-

Kinda ironic how I get all this TCP/IP training for the military and I'm too lazy to do anything with it (I got placed in a squadron that has little to do with my training, go figure).
If I get really desperate I'll just go by the 18th Comm Squadron (where I should really be working at...) and have them hook me up on the downlow.
