    Why Porkchop rocks my socks!!!

Post here girl, I owe you some SERIOUS rep!

I picked up my free black Zune the day after arriving home from my vacation.... after working 6am-3pm on two hours sleep (stupid jet lag), I had to travel to the boonies indutrial area in Mississauga to get the FedEx package. I will admit I was grumbling at the thought of this trek as the Matchstick headquarters is halfway between my home and workplace... but it was SO worth it.

I had to wait until tonight to start 'er up, but wow... just wow. I have never been a fan of the IPod as I have the small hands of a 7 year old, but this thing is SO small and lightweight, it's perfect. I have only began to dabble in its many awesome features, but I am simply blown away.

Porkchop, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!!!!

So PC, how's yours working out for you?

And so everyone else feels special, I am curious..... what do you use to listen to your music on the go? I want this to be a positive post, so please don't turn it into a "my MP3 player is better than yours!" debate... just point out what makes your player awesome

I dont listen to alot of music, but when i do, my PSP is perfect for it! I like that it can do everything, so that if i dont want to continue listening to music, i can watch a movie or play a game.

I use my 3 year old 60 GB iPod. I ripped out the original firmware and put in a lighter weight one so I could fit more music. I'm probably gonna sell it soon and use the money from that(plus $110 more) to get a cheap 160 Gig one.

So, what kind of personal information did you have to give away/spam e-mail do you have to receive to get this Zune?

Nothing I haven't already put out there. All I have to do is talk to people about the Zune, and then reference that back to Matchstick.... if I talk about it in my blog or on facebook (heck, even here although I haven't done it yet) I just send them a link.... it's a marketing campaign.

I already take part in surveys, so I didn't mind taking the time to answer a few questions.

                    16gig iPod Touch.

The recent addition of the pandora.com application sure is neat. And last.fm integration.

I have literally the cheapest plan you can get for the iPhone (not a lot of minutes and no free text messages), so it's only running me like $65 a month or so (I use online billing and haven't really paid great attention to what it is for a while now, which I know is bad, but, yeah). I'm not sure you can get the same plan anymore, and you definitely can't for the new 3G iPhone.

The one thing you need to know is that you have to get the unlimited data plan with the iPhone, but you'll actually use the internet abilities a lot.

                          Insignia Sport mp3 player-

4GB memory with a MicroSDHC slot (I have an 8GB in it now, getting a 16GB SDHC ASAP). Has picture and video suport, FM reciever, Bluetooth, audio books (don't really care for that...) and is compatibile with Rhapsody's stupid little to go service which isn't available outside the CONUS.

Best Buy was also smart enough to let you switch in between having it connect as an external device or a drive.

                          $85 on sale last year.

Glad you love it Sez. I lovemine too. Although I've been a horrible rep and havn't really sent them much feedback I've been so busy dealing with various things going on that it just isn't a priority right now.

I have an antique 256 MB "MUVO N200" player suffering from "I threw it at the ground in frustration" syndrome.
