I just watched the 5 episode mini-series and I liked it a lot. I'm normally a sucker for stylish-ness (with the exception of devil may cry(2-4). And it was funny to hear Samuel L as an annoying guy. Anybody else check this out? and if so what did you think?

If you haven't already, I say give it a go, it's not that long.

I didn't check it out because I heard it was strictly style over substance.

Oh, and I'm not a fan of samurai/period shows, usually.

From what I can tell, Chad, it only appears to be Speed Racer.

I did hear this series cost 1 million per episode to produce, and Samuel Jackson's voice acting was all right.

Well, take the third and fourth episodes for example. What do they have that wasn't already done in movies like Yojimbo? I prefer the episodes like the final arc and the baseball episode and the calligraphy episode.
