    Robert Rodriguez's Red Sonja

Yeah.. I am going to see it. I guess he is talking about re-doing Conan as well.

They said they will be shooting on location and will have "some" green screen in it. I hope it's really only some.

    KROM!

He enjoys using a lot of CG these days. Not much of a fan of his latest films.

He also said he wanted to do Barbarella. Let's just take what Robert Rodriguez says with a grain of salt.

Isn't that movie the inspiration for the song "Electric Barbarella" by Duran Duran? Hell, isn't the bad guy in that movie called Duran?

I like Robert Rodriguez, he makes entertaining movies.

Planet Terror was one of my favorite movies of last year, if not my favorite.

It was a sweet ass movie with a ridiculously awesome soundtrack.

My favorite Robert Rodriguez movie is El Mariachi. Not the El Mariachi remake called Desperado. And I've still not seen Once Upon a Time in Mexico, although I now own it on UMD. And From Dusk Til Dawn (the first one) was quite good as well. Well, the first half of it was good. Oh, wait. Wasn't that the Tarantino half? Yeah, the vampire bloodfest in the second half was not quite as good as what came before. And that was the Robert Rodriguez half, right?

So, yeah. I like El Mariachi.

Actually, Desperado was more of a sequel. The start of the film even had a flash back to the events of the previous movie, so it shows the movie takes place sometime after those events. El Mariachi is still a great movie, though.

That seemed less like a statement of opinion and more like an excuse to educate us.

I haven't seen Red Sonja but it's probably lousy and could use a nice remake.

My question: why remake ROBOCOP? or CONAN? OR ****ING HIGHLANDER? OR ANYTHING FROM THE EIGHTIES?!

As long as Conan stars Dwayne Johnson and is directed by Rodriguez, I have absolutely not problem with it.
