New Video Game Threads

First off, let me start off by saying that I'm not trying to **** anyone off. I'm just trying to understand.

How do you determine if a game can have 'another' topic or not? I see there was a new FFIV topic that got locked because there's already a topic for it.

But what about the other topic? How many Guitar Hero 3 topics are allowed? Why isn't the recent topic about GH3 locked since there's already 3 or 4(or even more) topics about it already?

So in my opinion, it does seem like certain people get picked on. Or maybe it just depends on who the first one to reply is. It just seems like there's so many people on here that seem rude and it saddens me. Makes me not want to come here so often. I don't care if I get harrassed about this. I just hope you understand what I'm trying to get through to people here.

To me two vidya games require two different topics. I would imagine some vidya games would require multiple topics for news and such. So you can have one vidya game topic On GH3 on the game itself, and maybe after a while if a download comes along for it (and a good one) then maybe it is news worthy. Or maybe not. But It all comes with the territory of vidya games.

BIG news warrants new thread, if the poster feels like it.

someone saying "I just bought this game" does not warrant a new thread if there's already an active thread about the game.

I don't think a topic about a few downloadable songs merits its own topic.
