Crimson Knight Fact #1: I hate Cilantro.

    ALL CILANTRO MUST DIE.

I hate the stuff. The taste is too strong to me, it negates every other flavor mixed with it. And yet, people seem to want to mix it with EVERYTHING!

People call me an "enemy of all chefs" or just shake their heads and say I have bad taste in food/flavoring/cuisine.

Am I alone in thinking this? Does ANY ONE ELSE NOT wanna marry Cilantro?

Cilantro is pretty gross. I don't feel it overpowers other flavors, but it smells and tastes like poison, and does have a rather prominent flavor. They use it in the fiesta salsa at Taco Bell. Usually that's not too bad, unless whatever jackass that's mixing it uses too much. Or doesn't properly chop up the stems. Bleh.

I've only had it once, when I went to a Chipotle restaurant.

It ruined the burrito it was in.

And it was a big burrito.

Agreed. It's almost like mint! That **** belongs nowhere near my salsa/burritos/guacamole.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

Un taco de lengua con cebollas y cilantro en un tortilla de maiz es el taco mas bueno.

You might be a part of a group of people that are more sensitive to the taste than others. It's believed that your cilantro disposition might be related to your genetics.

              I love the stuff.

What he said. I learned that I fall under that category in High School when our Chemisty teacher conducted an experiment with the class to see if any of us got a bitter taste in our mouth when we put this pH test strip looking thing in our mouths. Me and only one other person said that we tasted something bitter. Our taste buds are more sensitive to a certain chemical so it makes a lot of food like vegetables disguisting to us.

Smoking kind of tones it down.

I can't say that I've ever had that disposition towards cilantro, however. I like it and usually don't even notice it's there.

Yeah, when all you cilantro lovers get some crazy disease and GO TO ANOTHER DIMENSION, who's gonna populate the human race?

                          Us cilantro haters.

WE WILL ABOLISH/BAN/SMOKE ALL CILANTRO IN 2012. Get lose, your resistance is futile.

I also think places go overboard with cilantro. There's this BBQ Chicken pizza that I get at a local Italian restaurant that they just bury in the stuff and I have to pick a lot of it off to taste the other stuff.
