Here's an idea for a potential RPG I've been working on. I'm posting everything I have right now in hopes that it might inspire me in someway to work on it some more.

I had this vision for the main character as this desert dweller guy but he kind of turned out looking like Johnny Depp. I had a drawing for Pearlie but I scrapped it. I also have some rough sketches of some of the towns and landscapes that I'm not posting simply because I'm too lazy to scan them right now. But I'm still working on it.

Story:
The game isn’t necessarily about the main character, rather the way the other characters in the game relate to and perceive him. Throughout the game you learn more about Vaal Bara Ultimas’ history, how the parliament was formed, and about how a war that happened 503 years ago formed the one governing body for the entire continent. The game starts out with Cygnus in jail for stealing from the surrounding villages having only been there a few days before a seer wolf he calls Chinook comes along and frees him. Cygnus’ tongue seems to have been removed and nobody ever really knows who he is or where he came from. Eventually when Cygnus leaves the Kingly mountain range many people theorize it’s because it’s apparent that he is a wanted man and can no long stay in the area without being hunted down, although those close to him realize that he was merely in the area to steal supplies and wants to seek out anyone who knows anything about Vaal Bara Ultima‘s spotty history, particularly history about the parliament.
Vaal Bara Ultima Parliament:
The Vaal Bara Parliament is the governing body for the entire continent, all the sitting members of parliament are the richest, most power and influential people in Vaal Bara Ultima. The parliament was created by the sovereign 503 years ago to abolish all the countries in Vaal Bara Ultima, end the war and bring the entire continent together as one. Originally she was to maintain her position as sovereign and act as the third branch of the parliament but when the sovereign used much of her power to make the most powerful person in each country immortal so they could preside over the parliament forever, it severely weakened her and she later died.
The Sovereign:
Was a powerful being that some believed to be a demon. There are rumours that’s she is still alive somewhere perhaps too weak to show herself. Some believe the existence of the immortals proves she’s still alive because she was believed to have linker her power with theirs.
Lord Emrys(Lord Speaker):
The former king of a country that no longer exists, Emrys is a charismatic leader and a powerful mage. He is by far the most active member of the parliament. Although he only holds the title of lord speaker, he has taken the job of presiding over the entire parliament.
Bazooka(Speaker for the house of commons):
Formerly a great general from a country that no longer exists. Bazooka is a human-lizard hybrid, perhaps a komodo dragon or large monitor lizard. He holds the title of right honourable speaker of the house of commons but doesn’t care for his position. Bazooka is said to suffer from depression stemming from an overwhelming urge to eat humans which must be kept hidden at all costs, and has violent mood swings. Bazooka has an intense hatred for Cygnus and blames him for forever ruining his life which he must live forever and ever.
The Prime Minister:
A mysterious figure who wears a mask made of whale bone. Politically impartial and presides over the all of the parliamentary rituals.

Kingly Mountain Range:
A broad mountain range located in northern Vaal Bara Ultima. Known for being the home of the seer wolves, other big game animals and weak monsters.
Theropod Bad Lands:
An unforgiving landscape with arid terrain. Plenty of hoodoos and gullies makes it a great place for hiding, many bandits call this place home.
Ahanu Grass Lands:
The Ahanu is supported mainly by grass and herbs. Great soil and flat land makes it the ideal place for farming.

Seer Wolf:
A type of highly intelligent and intuitive canine found only in the Kingly Mountains with the power to use magic.

Synopsis:
Little is known of Cygnus’ origins. Secretive by nature; seems to possess a form of cosmic awareness in which he can break the forth wall and is aware he is being controlled, which may be the reason he seems not to have fear. Cygnus’ tongue looks as though it might have been removed with surgical precision and therefore never speaks during the game, only giving yes or no answers.
Character Attributes:
Cygnus’ weapon of choice is the quarterstaff. High attack power, a moderately good defence, moderately high HP, and a lot of speed and agility makes him an invaluable member of the party in one on one combat. Although lacking in MP and his ability to use magic, he makes up for it with powerful techniques.
Chinook:
Synopsis:
Chinook is the only known seer wolf ever to live among humans, Chinook is generally still technically considered a wild animal, and doesn’t follow commands as a typical domestic dog would.
Character Attributes:
Chinook has a good defence but low HP. His attack power is quite high in the beginning, although gradually he will become more and more useless as attacker as the game progresses because he unable to carry a weapon to upgrade. Fortunately he uses some of the most powerful magic in the game and has a high magic defence and a lot of MP.
Pearlie:
Synopsis:
Pearlie is a naturalist researching the Seer Wolves that live in the mountains around the village of Kanapima. Having come from a large middle class family who’s parents always pushed their children to succeed, she has a strong work ethic. Pearlie initially meets Cygnus in the village of Kanapima and quickly becomes fascinated with Chinook. Once Cygnus leaves town and they part ways, she impulsively decides to leave her research team so she can conduct her own research as to how a human was able to tame a Seer Wolf. After talking to locals and reading through what little information she finds in the archives she decides to seek out Cygnus and join his party.
Earl Grey:
Pearlie’s former boss and expert tracker.
Non-Playable Characters:
The Green Man:
The Green Man is a deity said to have watched over the forest for thousands of years. He only appears to those who eat the green mans herbs and is friendly in person with an absurd sense of humour and enjoys using non sequiters. The Green Man knows of many things long forgotten by mortals. The sovereign sought him out before the formation of the parliament. His ability to see through the eyes of any scary tree face in the world makes him somewhat omnipresent.
...And here's a random Oar Fish Monster guy.
I was going to put this guy in the game, Cygnus meets his queen at some point and recruits him. But I don't know.
