    Sprite maker

Hi, I'm a new person here, how can I make a sprite or character?

You can't make sprites in RPGM2. Though, it would have been pretty cool to have 2d sprites on the 3d background, but alas no.

you can make 2d sprites in a 3d battle field. all you have to do is the following steps.

1 make a character in the character model
2 place the character in a duegon setting or in a field
3 move the carma to point at what you would like the picture to be than hit l3 and r3 to take a pic.
4 go to the image editor and seclet the image to make it a file.
5 nxt go to the vxf editor and make a effect using the image you made the pic of.
6 go to the enemy editor and make an invisable enemy
7 go to enemy actions use the invisable enemy as the model and go into the area were you make the enemies actions and use the vfx area and select your pic of your character if you went to fight in battle i reminds me of a cheese card battle game

Using the Dungeon Editor and the 32x32 grid, you could make some kind of sprite, take a pic, edit it in the VFX editor, And apply it as a constant effect on the character while setting the character display to off. Although I believe you would have to use the enter map/infinite vehicle trick to do so. Also using the wait motion script (as in when you stop walking your character stops the walk motion) you could create separate movement graphics and if you made a custom jump script you could create a separate sprite for that.

TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

The problem is that pictures use up a lot of memory, you'd be better off using the building editor to make a character and use that character in place of a PC or NPC. You can also use VFX to make characters or to enhance your building person. You can build some pretty cool things with RPGM2 using VFX and building blocks if you take the time to really play around with all the settings.
