    Oh, my car! *cries*

Wow, I had an interesting weekend... I went on a camping trip in the mountains and we ran out of food, so I gave my keys to some kid to drive down the mountain and go to the gas station to get food and such. I realise this was a horrible mistake on my part. I had gotten like no sleep the previous night, and i was half awake when I told him he could drive.

The last thing I told him was "don't drive my car off of a mountain carl."

So what does he do? He drives my car INTO THE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN AND FLIPS IT.

My car is totaled, LUCKILY no one was killed. This girl ashley was hurt pretty badly because she probably wasn't wearing her seatbelt. Luckily for her, my insurance is going to cover all of her injuries, but I probably won't be driving for 6 months to a year, and my insurance rates are going to skyrocket.

I understand that this has created chaos for everyone involved, but im the one who got screwed over the most.

Im like, BE GRATEFUL YOU'RE STILL ALIVE, AND BE GRATEFUL I HAD MEDICAL COVERAGE ON MY INSURANCE SO YOU COULD GET YOUR MEDICAL BILLS PAID.

    GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

    anyways, that was my weekend.

That sucks. I was in a car accident recently as well, but for the most part, everything is working out on my end. I got my car back from the shop okay, the other guy's insurance is covering a lot of the property damage, the rest my insurance is covering, the other guys insurance is paying for all my medical checkups and x-rays and whatnot, and I'm not in any great pain at all. The other guy totally didn't even slow down, just rammed me. Your situation is a lot worse sounding. Sorry.
Took me 15 minutes to remember how to change my signature, and this is all I came up with.

That sucks. I'm glad to hear that no one was killed.

This winter my family and I drove up a 6 mile long and winding road up a mountain in Rio Dosa, NM....it was scary as hell, especially where you see the guard rail has been knocked out >_<

But my worst traffic accident has been hitting a shopping cart at Home Depot. There's a nice orange racing streak on my father's 2005 Dodge Ram because of me

That's rough. But like you said, no one was killed.

Sounds perfect for racing tiny impractical sports cars. My kind of road...

The insurance industry is a scam. The government mandates you have insurance, but then looks the other way companies form trusts to keep the rates uniform? The charge sports car guys higher premiums and then use the money to subsidize higher collision rate SUVs whos drivers pay much lower rates, all the while both consumers also pay for the insurance company's profit margins, which are a rather princely sum.

The whole insurance industry does suck, but frankly, im really glad we had coverage, or else this girl would be totally stuck with the medical bills that she has absolutely no way to pay for. she lives on her own and is struggling to even pay her living expenses. Life happens sometimes, im glad that I had the coverage because it will make the situation easier for her. Im really too nice of a person sometimes.

I dont know what im more angry about, the fact that my car was totaled, or the fact that my psp was thrown around the car and scratched to bejesus and back. I can hardly even play it, theres like 5 huge gashes right in the screen.

Keep it that way. You'll feel much better when you mess the car up rather than someone else. Honestly.

Indeed. El Caminoes are getting harder to come by these days.

I hope I never wreck my car. It would be hell finding another one, and then to have to do all that work all over again, ugh...
