my computer runs really slowly, but only whenever I try to watch videos on websites. you know, like Flash players. sites like YouTube or Dailymotion. anyone know why this is? I can still play all the games I could before, watch movies in QuickTime and Windows Media Player in full screen, etc, but for some reason, streaming videos run like molasses.

Clean out your cookies, temp files, run spybot s&d/adaware, reset your browser's security settings, run msconfig and shut off anything that is not essential to your computer's operation, update your browser, update your quicktime and flash versions, reset your LAN connection, and download and run Security Task Manager.
Use Security Task Manager to see if there are any hidden running applications or services. STM will remove them on the spot for you. I love it.

OOOOOOOOOOR you can open up port 23, forward your IP address to me, and I'll telnet into your workstation and fix it for you.
