    A formal introduction

Having been visiting the pav for over five years now, it seems very odd to be making an introduction topic for myself, but here I am!
In the past years I've been mostly busy with helping out the mag, and haven't exercised the opportunity to become a regular member here as well. (Though I have lurked, and posted the occasional front-page update, as well as a thread comment here and there)

Anyway, I'm Feros, a third year Information Technology Major. A lot of you who may not visit the mag might not know me (well), hence this introduction topic.

Warning: Brief History of my involvement in the RPG Maker Community Below

I entered the RPG Maker Scene in late 2002 when I stumbled upon the RPG Maker Pavilion. I signed up for the forums as 'RPG2002.' As you can tell I was EXCEPTIONALLY creative at the time. :P The garden had just closed, and a new site, the Magazine, had just started. RPG2284 (Ixzion), the creator of the mag was soliciting members of the pavilion to join his staff as reviewers. I applied, and surprisingly was brought on board. I learned later that the only reason I was 'hired' was because I was the only applicant.

After some turbulence at the outset caused by failing computer hardware, I remained a loyal Mag reviewer for several years. When the then head-reviewer, Altoecko stepped down, Ixzion offered me the position of head reviewer. A little over a year later, I was promoted to second-in-command of the Mag, as the Head of Site Apprentice, and shortly thereafter, the Vice Head of Site. I stepped down as the Mag VHoS recently due to a heavy workload in real life between my job and school.

So rest assured that though I may not have posted a great deal at the pav in the past, but at the same time I am also not a complete n00b. :P

I look forward to becoming much more active here, and can't wait to get to know those of you I haven't met at the Mag a lot better.

Welcome, sir. I think there's a social group for all the displaced (or otherwise) Magonians here...Duel might have made it. Hope you enjoy your stay.

So let me get this straight...you were the first official reviewer of the Mag but Ix made someone else head reviewer later?

Whats up with that? Or was there something in between I didnt get?

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

The mag was quite new, but there had been a very small established staff before I was there. Alt was already in place as HR before I arrived.

Own them all, tinker with all of them from time to time. Only thing I've really released is Second-to-last-fantasy XXVI in an effort to have a game completed on RPGM3 before it went on sale to the public. =p

Not as big as the walls of text Perv can pump out though.

Great to have you here. It's always nice to have new, active members.
Twothorp was in immense pain. The blisters did not care.
