Need an HDMI cable? A flat panel screen cleaner?

Or even an extra surge protector? At my work (and I'm sure all Sears stores have these left), we have a high def kit made by Belkin that contains all of the aformentioned items, regularly $50, just dropped to closeout price today for $9.97. Plus, all home electronics on clearance, open item, or closeout are an additional 10% off. Just figured I'd get the word out to anyone that had a need for an HDMI cable or screen cleaner (a decent sized bottle, plus lint-free cloth). For $9, you can't go wrong.

I'm not sure if this goes against the rules, as I'm not trying to advertise, but trying to let fellow Pavvies know about a good deal at Sears.

This same 10% deal is how I got my display model 65" Toshiba DLP for under $900. Granted, I got my employee discount, too, but that was fairly negligable.

If I see any other deals on closeout, I'll post 'em for you guys as well.

You can get HDMI cables online so cheap it's ridiculous.

Man, people let each other know about big deals around here all the time don't fret.

      What Mora said.

I also see them cheap at Fry's a lot.

Is it really a huge difference between HDMI and the regular HD cables that came with my 360, or is there a whole new world of quality that i'm missing?

Depends. If your TV is 720p and 32" or under, and you're using component with fiber optic for audio, then probably not. If you've got a 1080p set (or even a 720p set) over 32", then you probably will notice a difference, especially if you're using an RCA left/right audio hookup. Component is still analog, as is RCA for audio. HDMI and fiber optic are pure digital signals. On a smaller set, it probably won't make a difference. But at 40" and up, you probably are missing out a bit if you're not using HDMI.

EDIT: Not that it matters on the 360 anyway, though, as all the games are at 720p anyway. HUR HUR HUR.

But, yeah. If you've got a 1080p set and are NOT using HDMI on your PS3, you're a sucker.

            Ah, ok.

My TV isn't over 30" so I guess I shouldn't bother for now.
