Very good game. Just what you would expect out of a unreal tournament game made by Epic studios. It's a very simple but action packed game. The game has guns for each style of player. The sniper rifle, flak cannon, yatta yatta. (Sniper rapes) The new match type was kinda odd. It involves taking a primary node to make your opponent's power open to shoot it. Kind of annoying, but still fun. They introduced some sweet vehicles. Tanks, jeeps with blades that pop out the front, little battle ships, the works. Plus in certain levels, the X button(360) Brings out your hoverboard, you go alittle faster but fall and lose more health when shot. While on the hoverboard you can grapple on to any vehicle including the ships, making for lots of fun.

The only downside to the game is...well....you probably already know, repetition.

The same thing gets old after awhile but you do things that are fun each round that make it interesting.

Overall a great game IMO, 9 outta 10.

I'd never bother playing the 360 version. PC and PS3 versions have user made mods. which means one way or another, the PS3 version will be getting the new stuff in the 360 version. if epic doesnt do it, some random users will.

The mods are why I didnt want to wait for a 360 version. Normally I buy a 360 copy over the PS3 version because of the achievements, but mods are just so much nicer.


There's a map where everything is made out of legos, and you can destroy them too. Plus other mods to play in 2D instead of the first person, and having blood and gore in a super mario bros map is just awesome.

UT3 for PS3 is the best FPS I've played, because of the mods (haven't played PC version, so I can't count that). It is these mods that make a game that is great normally, even better. Normally I don't care for mods, but with stuff like the Super Mario Bros. mod, I mean, holy ****.

NOTE: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion for PC also has great mods. I've seen a mod that increases the quality of the graphics that poos all over the original, Bethesda-built graphics. Good stuff.

I got it about a week ago and I love it. It's a great fps and the vehicles are so much fun. My favorite is the Leviathan, that huge cannon it has just obliterates everything.

I've never played any unreal tournament games, i always thought they were made by someone else and Epic studios are awesome so i just mentioned it.

Yeah....there's a reason you probably think Epic is awesome. It's because they make the friggin' UNREAL ENGINE.

Need I say more?

For the record, the first Unreal I played was the one on the Dreamcast.
