Suggest what I should consider getting. Something able to interface with my iPod Touch or could play a CD track for the alarm would be nice, but really the only thing that I really NEED is something that displays the time clearly and that has an effective alarm.

HEMMY HEMMY HEMMY HEEMMMMAAAY.
Edit: Here is the one I use. The buzzer isn't that annoying at all, I have yet to want to beat the **** out of it. The volume of it starts out very low and slowly rises. It also has an auto daylight savings feature. Yada yada, I reccomend it.Last edited by Biggie; 07-10-2008, 03:11 PM.

Re: I need an alarm clock
You don't actually have to use your phone for calls. They're great alarm clocks. They are also more durable than most alarm clocks you can get from a store. My cat destroys every alarm clock I ever get (seriously and intentionally) so I can only use my cell phone.Originally posted by John Mora View PostBut I don't really use my cell phone~ {:3
I was hoping someone hear had an alarm clock that they really liked or something and could recommend it.
My cell phone allows the alarms to recur on certain days too, so I don't have to keep setting it, it sets itself. I don't know of an alarm clock that does that.Last edited by JLaCroix; 07-10-2008, 03:08 PM.AIM: JeremyLaCroix

Re: I need an alarm clock
Does this ipod touch have all your lossless audio quality playability, Mora!? HUH? DOES IT?!
Yeah, I use my cell phone. With the loudest, most jarring song possible. It scares days off my life every time I use it. But it's never failed to wake me up. =3"Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

But also my cell phone doesn't have any capability to store music so if I used that I wouldn't be able to have a song wake me up.

Re: I need an alarm clock
It does work with the top closed, but not when its off. However, closing it dampens the sound a bit, even when its maxed, so its effectiveness will depend on how quiet/loud your room/area is.Originally posted by John Mora View PostDoes it still work if you close the shell or if the unit's turned off?
I use my phone's alarm these days since its got a repetition function (set it to go off only on work days), but I used to just use my stereo's alarm set to the classical station.Last edited by Marc M.; 07-10-2008, 03:42 PM.
