    Yet. Another. Game. Idea.

    Okay, it's not like I'm making this game anytime soon, but I have a cool idea.

    The game follows a young man named Eli Brooks. He's either a clone or a person who's been cloned (it's one of those "It'll be revealed in the game things"; and I'm also not sure). Well, for some reason, he must hunt down and kill the many clones created (and maybe the original). This is either because of:
    -It's one of those Highlander things and he's driven to do it (THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!!)
    -There's only one soul to be shared between the original and the clones and he must kill for it
    -He just wants to be the only Eli Brooks in the world

    All of the clones are different ages and have different styles of fighting, personalities(?), and different styles period. The clones (and original?) also want Eli dead. Think a sci-fi(ish) flavored Suda51-esque game...or something.

    Too bad the title "Clone Wars" is taken already, huh? I can't think of a title that just clicks, y'know?

    I once had a game idea similar to this, but mine involved shadows of one self and you in order to get back your shadow you had to hunt them all down on different places in the world.

    Your game sounds like it would be fun. Have you considered making it with an ACBS?

    Also for a title how about "Dolly's Revenenge" (from dolly the cloned sheep)


    TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

      That sounds like it'd be a cool game. With some polish, it could be a great game.
      Twothorp was in immense pain. The blisters did not care.

        Hee hee. Funny. Oh, but maybe the title can be sheep-related or something (like Latin for "Of the Sheep" or something).

        Your old idea sounds cool, though.

          ACBS = Action Custom Battle System.
          So... a real-time custom battle system.

              You can design an ACBS on RPGM2, but it takes a good amount of skill.

                Aw crap, really? Only RPGM2? Mmm-mm, not my favorite software to use. I was hoping that RPGMXP or RPGMVX could do it.

                  I'm sure XP/VX could as well. They do support scripting in Ruby, right? So that should be more than enough to make an ACBS. However, it would obviously take a lot of work, though there are probably resources already available that would at least help.
                  Though, I don't know. I don't own XP or VX.

                    Oh, and by the way, I decided on a title. This game would be called "Eli Fifteen", because fifteen clones were made from Eli.

                    Also, allow me to elbaorate a bit more on the plot:

                    Eli Brooks was a assassin/soilder of fortune who wakes up from a coma and has suffered from some memory loss. He knows he was a mercenary and is partially aware of his origin in life, but the cause of his coma and other memories were reduced to obsure images and partial memories.

                    As he lays in his hospital bed, he's violently attacked by a man whom he finds to look like him. Eli fends off the strange ambusher and flees the hospital with intense confusion. But while on the streets, he runs into a strange woman called "Donna Dark", who offers him help and some information.

                    She tells him that he was cloned by some secret agency known as the Syndicate of Scientific Investigations and Espionage (or the SSIE for short), who planned to use clones to develop super soldiers. That is, until the clones got out of control and escaped. She also tells him that all the other clones are out to kill him, and he must take them out before they do him in. After giving him some weapons, Eli begins his journey to kill the clones.

                    Along the way, there are two main antagonists. One is General Ben Foster, who once lead the SSIE. He plans on eliminating Eli and all the clones for the sake of revenge. He also claims to know Eli and has critical information about him and his past.

                    The second antagonist is a strong clone known only as "Number Fifteen" at the beginning. At first, you would only see a shadow or sillhoette of him and hear his voice over a loudspeaker or phone or something. During Eli's incompaciation, Number Fifteen had set up a sort of criminal empire and now has great power at his fingertips. He causes emotional distress for Eli by arguing that Eli is in fact a clone as well. Or at least, he puts the idea in Eli's head.

                    This is only the first draft of the basic story, and is of course subject to change. (Please don't steal this idea! I'm begging you!)
