They can get the oil? Are they serious? Some stupid ***** is trying to find union made organic fanny packs while the north pole melts, and greedy consumer ****s are trying to get black gold from undrneath it!?

If the ice there melts, that means EVERYTHING that can't swim until the ice melts or move to solid ground dies.
Of course, that meant a little more in my mind when I thought the whole ice cap was going to melt.
Still... deep **** ahead.
On a side note, I wonder how Santa will fare, at least in the minds of children.Last edited by Dusk Raven; 06-27-2008, 09:40 PM.

Many people who are in industry are already convinced it isn't a hoax, but believe their profits are more important than helping to slow or stop this process. After all, they won't be the ones to suffer the most from this problem, since they have the money to do whatever they want.Originally posted by theStormWeaver View PostPerhaps this will finally convince the conservatives that global warming isn't a hoax.
Politicians are now clamoring for more oil drilling, even though we have the technology to allow us the same living standard on much less oil. They have to keep Americans and others residing in first world nations consuming resources and spending money, or they won't be nearly as rich anymore. The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson
