FIRE!!!!

A large portion of Northern California is on fire...

Last weekend, there was a huge lightning storm and ignited something like 842 fires.

The air is filled with smoke, the sky is grey, I can stare at the orange-red sun and suffer no ill effects...

The newspaper said I shouldn't breathe the air outside alot, and to use an air-conditioner set to recirculate...

We don't own an air-conditioner, as we're too poor... they said not to use a fan, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna suffer this heat.

Is it wrong that I'm pulling for mother Nature on this one? GO FIRE GO!

It's never been quite this dramatic and obvious something is wrong... the storm was unpredicted, and we've had an incredibly dry year so far...

It's also never happened so close to my house! It's only a few miles away.

Hey, if Nature didn't want to burn anything at all, that would be even better.

Also, if the "friends with people" comment is what I think it is: I didn't say anything about people burning.
