    Emulation

I'm not sure if I should be asking this here but is it possible to play the games on this site if you use an emulator?

Only legal emulator is ePSXe, but you still need your PS1's BIOS and the actual game disc to play...but I dont know how to upload RM1 games to the PC MC's

Any other emulator that uses ROMs are illegal and not discussed here.

epsxe can read gme files just fine. just put them in the memory card folder.

So wait, you guys are saying that we can use an emulator to play RM1 on PC? This means we can create larger games! I might have to blow the dust off my copy of RM1...

Well once I finish my TBS and Attack of the Rape Zombies! that is.

TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

No, RM1 still has the memory restraints as it would on the console.

ePSXe uses the PS1's BIOS, so the game thinks its playing on the console, not a PC, which means you still get limited memory.

Yes but if you use the multiple memory card trick then technically you could make larger games.

You could do that with the console, PS1 memory cards are only a few bucks now, and if you have a PS1 memory card and a PS2 memory card you can do the same exact thing(store files on the PS2 MC until you need them then transfer them to the PS1 MC, no it doesn't corrupt the files).

I personally dont like using ePSXe for the simple fact that you still cant use a keyboard to type in dialog for RM1 but you use it to play it, using a keyboard for playstation games is kind of clunky.
