    YAY I finally got a DS! (What are you guys playing?)

    Unintentionally keeping with my tradition of not getting new systems until several years after they come out, I got an atomic blue DS yesterday. There weren't many games to choose from at Walmart where I got all my crap, but I settled on Ultimate Mortal Kombat since I'm a huge fan of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and it has online play.

    I'm really loving it, UMK is really good if you're an MK fan, almost arcade perfect. I'd like to fight you guys some time if any of you have it. I have it online now but I don't know how to invite people and I'm not online as often as I'd like to be but weekend matches would be fun.

    I can't wait for the Dragon Quest games to start coming. I need a good RPG for this little thing.

    Edit: What wifi games are you guys playing with other pavilionites?

        Get whatever, but never put it in a pair of pants with small pockets. I used to bring my DS everywhere, they'd get their L and R buttons squished. Luckily, I ripped the buttons out and fixed them, put them back in, so I got that done, but unless you know how to do the same, protect that sucker. Mine's only a year old. Good luck to you on your DS quests.

        I'm personally waiting for a few choice games, myself, JLaCroix. It'll be a while before some more good games come out, unless you consider the Imagine games good.

          I'm thinking about FF Tactics A2. I liked the first one but it was really boring to me. I may or may not get it, depending on if it's the same thing again.

          There's quite a few games I need to get and I have no more money. My wife wants Nintendogs and Kirby.

            Does ANYONE have Ultimate Mk for DS? I've been fighting random people online and would like to find someone I know to fight. I'll give my friend code out.

                Well I think any of you that are MK fans should get UMK and we can have tournaments.

                Regardless, what games do you guys play with eachother on DS? I want to play my DS online with friends as much as I can, but all I can do now until some of you get UMK (or I get a different game) is fight random unknown online people.

                      The World Ends With You's wi-fi capabilites are pretty dumb, probably the most poorly integrated part of the game.

                      That said, it's an awesome game with a great playground-esque battle system, a snappy localization that actually has a sense of humor, and enough post-game things to do for even the most rabid completionist. It also has a really neat risk/reward system allows you to make the game as easy or as hard as you'd like at any time, and, like, the hugest selection of items and abilites that can be combined in all sort of ways like I've never seen.

                      Also, my little brother has UMK. I'll see if I can get his friend code, but he might be too busy with MGS4.

                        I'm gonna suggest the new Pokemon games only because they are the most popular.
                        Other titles include:
                        New Super Mario Bros.
                        Kirby Squeak Squad (if you are into Kirby)
                        Mario Kart DS (over the aggrevating Diddy Kong Racing)
                        Sonic Rush/Adventure

                        In September, the Sonic RPG: Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood comes out. It'll be the first ever legit Sonic RPG (plenty of internet versions were made).

                          I dunno. I died in the first battle where the game lets you die.

                              I think I might get this. After all, if looks like it'll be a Kingdom Hearts kind of game, and I am a boy who loved his Kingdom Hearts.
