That is so awesome, my brain just exploded.

I am cleaning the remains from my keyboard as I type this. It's revolting, but still awesome, given the reason why it happened. :3

I loled at the fact that the place he was swimming was called Nubbing Slough.

This is just like the first chapter of One Piece where Shanks loses his arm to a giant fish and scares it!

        Well

So the guy went swimming in a natural body of water located in Florida.
Hello! There are gators there! What the hell were they expecting?

"He dragged me under the water five times," Edwards said. "Finally, (the arm) ripped off and I wasn't aware at the time. (It) hit me in my stomach and knocked the wind out of me and I dug and took my finger and gouged its eye. It spun and turned around and went away from me. (I) didn't know I was missing an arm until I was swimming back."
