    Everything old is new again

    Except now it sucks.

    Bewitched
    War of the Worlds
    Herbie: Fully Loaded
    The Honeymooners
    King Kong
    The Dukes of Hazzard
    House of Wax
    Dawn of the Dead
    The Amityville Horror

They're going to have to start putting classic writers, directors, and actors in special graves to give them room for all the spinning they'll be doing.

      herbie was always crap.

but I especially hate the new movie because with the volkswagon beetle being in there, VW doesnt want it in the new Transformers movie (for the character bumblebee).

Ageing baby boomers are having wee wee problems, realizing they're now old, and want the movies and cars of their childhood and youth.

And yet the studios bastardize them into something completely different and utterly horrible thus making them feel even worse.

Valk, you're right the Herbie movies were never any good, just somewhat fun for the very young. But that's all the more reason not to do this movie which probably won't be fun for anyone at all. Unless of course Lindsay Lohan ends up topless at some point.

Peter Jackson's a great director but there's absolutely no reason to do another version of King Kong and considering Fay Wray just died last year it seems sacriligious to me.

Only because they're dumb enough to shell out money to the companies.

                They'll all turn profit.

That's all the studios care about.

                So hooray for capitalism.

If you want some new movies that are full of oldchool goodness, try to find the newer godzilla movies.

Mechagodzilla and Monster Zero are still kicking ass.

Bewitched - It's got Will Ferrel. I'd see it for free.

War of the Worlds - Dude, this looks awesome! Steven Spielberg and sci-fi can't go wrong. Unless it's A.I.

                    Herbie: Fully Loaded - **** **** **** **** ****.

                    The Honeymooners - Also ****.

King Kong - It's Peter Jackson and it's got Naomi Watts and JACK BLACK in a dramatic role?! I'm totally interested in this.

The Dukes of Hazzard - **** it.

House of Wax - **** it to hell.

Dawn of the Dead - The remake was better than the original, man.

The Amityville Horror - Screw it. Though damn, Ryan Reynolds knows his beards.

I wish George Miller would release Fury Road, but when he had Gibson ready to play the role of Max again after many long years of wanting him to re-assume the role, the war in Iraq had to happen, thus cancelling the filming in Africa. We probably won't ever see another Mad Max movie, now.

Maybe they had to go to the bathroom. Everyone moves faster when they have to go to the bathroom.
