    Windows Vista SP1 Problem

So my wife downloaded the SP1 update, now whenever she clicks on ANYTHING at all, its like a 50/50 chance IE will pop up for no reason at all...anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

And please don't get on the issue on which computer/Internet Program/Windows Version is better.

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

Is IE the default browser? If so, change the default to a different one (Firefox will prompt you to at start-up) and see if it's popping up your new default or if it's still IE.

Your like 7 years behind on updates JPS. Get SP2, that'll probably fix it. And you have no excuse either, because they are free and don't take too long to download.

A little more information please, when IE pops up, what site (if any) does it go to? Are you using dial-up?

It goes to the default home page, and Im on a wireless broadband connection.

I know some programs will open certain webpages but Ive never known general programs to do it.
