    I'm confused, as usual

So I'm playing a little of Ys: The Arc of Napishtim, and it's pretty cool, blah blah blah.... So I go to Gamefaqs to check out some stuff on it, and it gives me a list of Ys games for ps2.

Ys I & II Eternal Story
Ys III: Wanderers From Ys (which I've played on the SNES, great game)
    Ys Mask of the Sun
    And Ys V

So I check them out, and it seems that they're Japan only. But this confuses me:

If they were never released here, then why is the cover in English????

So, can anyone tell me which Ys games have been released over here so maybe I can find them? Thanks.

It's as it says. Take a look at the top-right corner of the box. There's an NTSC J label.

That's a Japanese game, despite the English title. Some games do this, like Rockman (in most cases) and Beatmania.

Ohh, I didn't know that (about the label). That sucks. Thanks though.

I know a Canadian who doesn't know ENGLISH, let alone French.

Also English is foreign and cool to a lot of Japanese. And I guess medieval RPGs that often use European archetypes don't seem like the best place for Japanese moon scribbles?

Wasn't No More Heroes 100% in english? Despite being made and sold initially in Japan?
