    Okay...dumb question (Youtube-related)

As I've just started on a kick of uploading stuff to Youtube, I have a question. I'm using my PS3's Playstation Eye camera in conjunction with the free download called Eye Create to make my stuff. I then export it to my hard drive, and it makes it an MPEG-4 file. Thing is, I use a bunch of the effects and whatnot on the Eye Create program, so they tend to be really contrast-y, and sometimes (most of the time) include very non-distinct images. My problem is, when I upload them, they end up looking like pure garbage. They are all pixellated and stuff, and I do not remember all the other Youtube videos I've seen looking like that. They look fine in the program, and they look fine on my TV when I export them, but they look horrible while streaming. Now, I know some quality will be lost along the way, but look at my last post in Owl's dream thread, or the one I just posted in my Youtube thread in the PG for examples.

So, is there something I should be doing before uploading them to get them to look better? Like I said, it's not a problem with the original file. Should I convert them to another file type before uploading? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks guys.
