    Questions

Is there a way to set up a battle to last after so many turns?

Is there a way to have Dungeons go from indoor to outdoor, vice versa, and so on?

Is it possible to make a game like the Final Fantasy games with summons and all that?

Can you make actual cinema screens or cutscenes?

First One: Yes I believe there is a variable for this. Check out Dungeon Wardens Advanced FAQ for more info.

Second: Yea, you can make warps go where ever you wanted, if you wanted your dungeon could go to space, then to a forest, then back to the dungeon, you could easily do it. But you would have to make the places all separate.

Third: Not sure, you could just make the summons magic and go from there.

Fourth: If your thinking like every other person who comes in here that you want to make FF type cut scenes, then get that out of your head. That being said, you can make really fantastic cut scenes with this program, down load Hippy Hunt 2 by Bigfoot and look at his cut scenes, they're some of the best.

TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

Var23: Lose Turn Count can be set to the number of turns that the battle will last until the party "loses." If set to zero, the battle will continue until someone wins. You can use Var17: Battle Result in the end battle script to check if the battle ended because the time ran out (Var17: Battle Result = 0 i.e. no one won).

You can do whatever you want in this regard. You have full control over movement and dungeon design in the game.

I'll say maybe. Many people have tried but no one has exceeded, to my knowledge. It would take someone with a lot of smarts and a lot of time to pull something like this off. Play Dragon Quest VIII. It's a great game and fits the style of RPG maker 2 much better. Dragon Quest III and IV could easily be made with the game engine.

Can you make actual cinema screens or cut scenes?
If by Cinema screens you mean FMV, then no. However you have fill control of the in-game engine to make cut-scenes. You can make scenes similar in style to the LEGO games.
