Man, I wish I could have taken pics of this, but I was at work.
Today, I went mano y mano with a seagull outside of my store.
So I was out getting carts (yeah, they made me even though I'm almost a manager) and this damned seagull was picking through a McDonald's bag and making a damned mess.
A bunch of guests thought it was cool, too. So I said "Yeah, looks like he's having quite a feast!" and then I made weird noises at the diseased rat-bird and chased him off. Then I picked up his dinner and put it in the can. I can't have that crap in front of my store. I already had to chase away kids that were begging for pot money a few days ago.
Stupid bird didn't know when to quit, though. I brought another batch of carts up to the door and the little bastard was sticking his head in the trash can hole and trying to pull the bag back out. I almost got a swipe at him and scared him off.
He gave up after that and retreated to the fringes of the parking lot. But I know from this day that forward that I have a mortal enemy. I saw it in his eyes. He'll be back. And I'll be ready.
