Like, say, a diamond-encrusted watch, this sort of thing is a luxury. You'd be surprised at how many particularly rich people are attracted to bizarrely expensive food, cell phones and even tiny boxes for the price alone, irrespective of the actual quality or practicality of the item.

Naturally, there are quite a few selfish snobs out there, so a little incentive to get them to contribute to a good cause is a win-win situation. Might as well pull some out of the pockets of the snobs while they continue to wipe their butts with their leather TP.
