I'm thinking about uploading a demo of my RPGM 3 game.

Yep, that's right. This might be a bad time, though. Still, would anyone care to give it a try?

If I can get my max disk to load, I'd be glad to.

Awesome! It's going to be a PSV file, since I don't own a maxdrive. I still hope you will be able to play it. You should know that it won't be nearly as good as your game. So don't get your hopes up.

Well that's very nice of you to say, but I'm so sick of both my games that a new one will be better, at least as far as I'm concerned. I think that you can have the data transferred to MAX format, but I'm honestly not sure. It usually goes the other way.

Well, hopefully someone here will be kind enough to convert it to a max file. I'll try to upload it in a day or two. There is still some playtesting I have to do.

If there's a way to convert it I'm more then game to give it a try. How long would you say it is?

              It's about 60 to 70 hours.

I'm kidding. Actually, you could finish the demo in probably about an hour.

Never tried it, but I DO have the PS1/2 to PS3 converter, so I SHOULD be able to DL it in the PS3 format, transfer it back to a PS2 memory card, turn on my PS2 with the Action Replay disc loaded, convert it to dot max file format, and send it to you via email so you can add it as an attachment. NO guarantees, though. In fact, I'm not sure if you submit it in the PS3 format, if you are even able to add the PS2 version as another attachment. But seeing as how every other PS3 owner is gonna be predisposed playing MGS4, I guess I'll need to bite the bullet and try to take care of this for you.

But that would mean that I'm gonna need to actually, you know, TURN ON my PS2.

Thanks a lot, Perversion. Seriously. Hopefully it will work.

I just thought of something, I was just going to upload it where I left off. Is that okay to do that, or isn't that such a good idea?

I have some extra time at the moment. So I might give it a shot.

DON'T DO THIS. Trust me on this one. If you release a demo, be sure that what's there is completely finished (as much as it can be), and playable. You should also have an invisible event with a message saying that the end of the demo has been reached, so that players will know. Seriously, there's a big difference between a 'game in progress' and a 'demo', and if you **** your players off, they WON'T play the full version.

Just a friendly heads up on that, from a fool who knows.

Thanks. I honestly didn't know that.

Well, my good people, my idiocy prevails once again! I load RPGM 3, create part of a dungeon, and then save part of said dungeon over top of a game that was never loaded! Meaning? I erased all my data by accident! Yaaaaaaay! I'm actually not too upset. Why you ask? Is it because I'm an idiot? Nope (well, maybe). It is because I recently backed up my data! So maybe I'm not that much of an idiot after all! I was hoping to upload my demo this Monday, but I guess it might be a little bit longer than I thought.
