Were you in the vacinity of last night's storm?!

It was crazy! The lightning was flashing rapidly, bout 5 times in a second, and at least 4 bolts would hit in one minute! I never thought it'd have ended, but sure enough, almost one in the morning, it finished.

Is it me, or does Mother Nature like to screw with us?

It never left for me. It was really wierd because that heat lightning usually happens north of us, my hometown in Mass never really gets that kind of lightning, so it scared the crap out of me!

It poured. It was pretty relentless, that storm was. Glad it passed by with no aftermath (except maybe a loss in power).

Next thing you know, an unatrual mist will consume the city. And you'll be forced to live in a Walmart.

            And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope

We had a storm last week that knocked out power for 23 hours at my house and I went to work that night and it knocked out power there within the first 15 minutes.

Then we sat around in the dark and talked to each other for 6 hours until the manufacturing supervisor told us to turn our timesheets in and go home.

Seems like power goes out in my place whenever I go grocery shopping and have a bunch of stuff that can go bad.

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

Was in the direction of the storm.

T'was in the mall at the time, half the lights shut off.

I still remember an ice strom we had back in 1999(?) Didn't have power for one or two weeks (can't remember) and just played Gameboy the entire time.

...We (Nebraska) didn't get anything. No rain. No thunder. At least, I don't remember any...

The weather has been really screwy this summer. It's already a record year for tornadoes, with estimates already over 1,100; we're not even through the month that's known for producing the second-most tornadoes(May is the leading month for tornadoes).

And who knows what hurricane season will bring.

Okay, NOW we're having a storm. I've even heard some sort of severe weather siren outside....

                            If there's a siren, it's probably a tornado.

Get yo ass in the basement.
