Haha! I managed to get my hands on a copy today! Damn, that box is fat.

So far, this game's friggin' nuts, as expected. It dosen't seem as batty as Touched!, but it's just as intuitive, if not moreso. They used the gyro-sensor very well. It's also considerably more challenging.

The D-Pad isn't used, naturally, so you have to shimmy the GB around. It's a lot easier than it sounds, really. It may seem somewhat confusing initially, but it becomes 2nd nature almost instantly. It's even easier to get the hang of the controls than in Touched!, however it's a bigger workout.

Y'see, spining the GB like you would a steering wheel isn't the only way to work it. You can flip it around in any direction and it'll respond. Hell, you don't even have to move the GB at all. You can spin around yourself and get the thing moving. The instructions booklet warns against it though, which is exactly why I decided to try it. It actually makes completing some games easier, or at least more entertaining. I dare you to try that in public.

Speaking of the instructions booklet, it's quite the novelty, like all the other Wario Ware, inc instructions booklets. Fuggin' fun to read.

I understand a number of people consider playing it with the DS awkward. Personally, I find it quite the opposite. I guess I've just grown accustomed to the DS. It has a better screen, after all (er, make that two) and I've gotten used to it's feel.

I've played a few stages, and it's fun as hell. That's where it really counts, of course. The insanity level is intact, the pace is intact and the fun is intact. I'm gonna try the twist + A button games shortly.

As a note, this is actually the 2nd Wario Ware, inc. installment. Touched! was the third, however it was released stateside before this little dealie (you can tell when Wario tries twisting the DS in the opening of the game). Of course, this game has more microgames and more awkward unlockables. I've yet to tackle those.

I seriously recommend this game. If you plan on getting either Twisted! or Touched!, get Twisted! first. While Touched! is still my favorite, I've barely scratched the surface of Twisted!, so I'll probably still find stuff that'll make me switch sides. Get it now.

Wow, there're loads of games in this thing. Sit ups, force feeding, dashing for the crapper, manovering food through a person's digestive system and out through his backside, an awesome nearly full stage of Super Mario Bros. all twisted up and pie (yay!).

I've already beaten all of the normal character stages (mambo wasn't too much trouble), however I've barely unlocked a silver of the games. And the collectables.. damn, those are awesome. And uber-plentiful. I'll have my hands full unlocking them all.

I've just beaten the super high-speed stage with a score of 51. What're your stage high scores?

9 Volt, Kat & Ana, and Crygor have the most beautiful boss games ever.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

                  OH, THANK GOD!

After a long-a** time, I've FINALLY unlocked ALL of the Gashapon unlockables, plus Pyoro.

                  But was it worth it?

Yes. Mainly because of the satisfaction of unlocking over 130 friggin' novelties. Most of the "Doodads" are actually quite useful, though. The unlockable games are great, too. Especially if you desperately need a break from the microgames.

In addition, I've also unlocked all of the microgames. Some are pretty tame, others are quite shocking, and a number of them will force you to laugh your a** off with a foam racket (assuming you're optimistic and/or enthusiastic, so that obviously rules the Pavilion out). The game quality is arguably even better than Touched!'s and are certainly greater in quantity, however the general insanity factor isn't as high in my opinion.

All in all, it's been a fun and retarded ride, but I've GOT to take a break from this game. I'm seeing garlic and dung making out before my eyes, dammit!

                  Which reminds me...

Although I have unlocked all of the microgames and gashapon prizes, I've gotten 139 unlockables.

In short, I'm missing one, which is unlocked by beating the high scores on all 200+ games... which I haven't done yet and don't INTEND TO DO at the present time.

Getting all the other unlockables was excruciating enough. I'll get to it later on at random times of boredom. I'd probably get too sick of it otherwise.

You get numbers to use with the phone unlockable. A number of them are amusing.
