Does anyone still pay attention to 8-bit theatre?

I had totally forgotten about it for a good two years at least.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I read it from time to time. They've recently reached 1000 comics, haven't they?

i check it every so often but the jokes are old and stale. 1k comics is just too much time for the gag they where going for. the whole comic moved too slowly and i lost interest.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!

Curiously enough, I actually read it five minutes ago. I hadn't read even one of the comics until last week; I'm on #153 right now.

I never had any interest in reading it.

well, what else is the guy going to do? nobody would bother with anything else he would do just because it's by "the guy who does 8-bit theater."

Wouldn't that give him credit? Make more people likely to check it out? The guy had some kind of superhero novel in the works that my brother wanted to buy, but it was like $40 so he said **** that.

Also, I still have my Black Mage 8-Bit Theatre long-sleeved shirt that I got from CafePress in 2002. =3 I wore it three days ago.

I remember seeing a more recent comic posted somewhere, and I thought it was pretty funny.

The real question is if anyone is still reading Sluggy Freelance.

                  NO.

I keep trying to get back into it, and I read like three strips, and then I lose interest all over again. It just can't recapture the awesome of its early years.

I've read the first couple hundred, but it just started to get old for me.

I remember enjoying it early on when my brother first told me about it.

sluggy is hard to read these days. probably because the guy can't go two weeks without taking an unscheduled break

i don't check out 8-bit much. seems to drag

only webcomic I really kept up with was Last Blood, but it's been stalled for a long time, ever since the writer landed a deal to turn it into a movie.

                              and Penny Arcade and Achewood.

slightly related, I got a polaroid picture taken at A-kon with the guy who does VGcats. might post it later.
