    Quality Over Quantity

^^Would you be willing to download multiple files?

Ive started making my contest game, and a question hit me...

Over the course of my game, you'll only have access to very limited items, so it would be simple to create smooth transitions from one game slot to the next(backtracking would not be possible, as youd be travelling to different continents during various missions)...would you guys be willing to upload 3-5 different parts of 1 game in exchange for having very detailed/interactive landscapes and towns(meaning utilizing all events/decorations/people in each area) possible for a small portion of the game or would you rather play a game on one slot with limited visual options/interactivity?

My game if for RM3 by the way.

Personally I don't mind switching datas at all if it means that the game experience is broader as a result...as long as I really like the game. My PS2 has a really hard time reading the MAX drive disk, but as long as it wasn't longer than 3 parts (so I could put all 3 parts on 1 card without having to use the MAX disk too much), it would be fine.

I don't have a problem with having to download a few slots, but like Obi said, too many would be annoying. I can't really complain considering Holy-Chaos is two slots.

Good luck with your game. You better make the deadline.

For me, quality always trumps quantity.

          (I voted wrong... oops)

It's cool. I'd never play your game anyway.

Quality, thats why I prefer RPGM2 because it can simply do more, and with a little will power and imagination, the games can look beautiful.

TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

                          It depends!

I like Oblivion because it is so HUGE!

I like Mass Effect, even though it's extremely short, because it has so much detail!

I don't really think you have to make a game that takes up two database files. If it's GOOD, it doesn't need to be long.

The issue isn't length necessarily, rather content. RPGM3 is limited space wise and if you wanted to make world with lot's of characters objects and events to interact with, it's going to consume A LOT of memory.
