    help me (Ninja Gaiden history)

I beat all of the NES Ninja Gaidens and I don't recognize this "intro..." with Ryu slicing someone and then having his house burned down holding a dieing person. Was the American version censored er something?

SMB2 was actually some other game that they just switched the main sprites with Mario and the gang. Can't remember what the name of that game was, though.

          EDIT: DAMN YOU, MAGUS!

I found vid. The clip I'm referring to is at the 0:24 mark and ends at 36, interspersed with footage of the first Ninja Gaiden. THOSE SCENES WEREN'T IN THERE!!!!

I played the arcade, was a big fan, and I don't remember that scene. besides, you had no weapons or anything.

Maybe they added some extra scenes in NG Trilogy? I don't know, just guessing.

I just beat Sigma last night!

I just started playing Sigma last weekend. I'm on Ch. 3 so far. It's good but I kind of hate it and everything else when I'm playing it. I have to do it in short bursts.

The Indiana Jones edition of Retronauts has a Ninja Gaiden discussion at the end, and Sharkey specificly mentions the scene when talking about the Arcade version.

So maybe you just have a bad memory.
