Uh-oh. It's a good thing they made that contract.

there's no shortage around here. they're plentiful. you might even say some are rotting on store shelves.

sony just recently sold past 1.5 million. it took 3 months to do that. and they want 12 million shipped out at the end of the fiscal year?

Wait till the Grand Theft Auto game comes out.

      That'll make a huge difference.

That's what I was going to say! Sony better drop that price with a quickness if they want to get to 12 million.

That's weird, they're hard to come by in the Chicago area...there's usually a few left or none in the Best Buys I go to.

Good thing they corrected the square button problem, and the dead pixels. Otherwise it would have fared the same as it did in Japan, perhaps with some young yuppie beating it repeatedly with a bat and running over it with his Mazda RX8.

They didn't fix the dead pixels. I have two. But I'm sure they'll "work themselves out" eventually.

Dead pixels though? Talk about shoddy quality. At least dead screens are gone.

Dead pixels can occur in any LCD screen. Its not exactly the PSP's fault.

And I don't have any dead pixels.

I don't have any either, the dead pixel drama has been way exaggerated.

Yeah, but what about your PSP?

yeah, it was blown out of proportion. BUT, sony demanding that you have a certain amount of dead pixels before they'll repair or replace it is really stupid. nintendo has long had a zero tolerance policy with dead pixels. they'll fix it if it has even one. sony should do the same.
