Yes, I know many of you may be confused from the title of this topic. Let me explain. After defeating Chuck in Literati, he alerted me that Obi was a keenly skilled Scrabble player, so when I finally caught up with him (Obi), he then introduced me to an internet Scrabble site called "Scrabulous." I had been so accustomed to Yahoo's Literati, but I figured I'd give it a try and see if Chuck was merely pulling my leg in saying that Obi was a good Scrabble player.
Obi and I ended up playing 5 games, 4 being one-on-one, and we both ended up an even 2-2. Dude is a monster, and being that it was my first time, Obi even said I was a worthy opponent. We played a few more games in the coming days, but I've been defeated by small margins. I've noticed that the main difference in Scrabulous and Literati is that Literati denies words that are actually words, while in Scrabulous, there are words you can't spell in Literati, and basically, ALL words are game. I've seen Obi spell:
Qi
EE
OO
Ja
Za
Yeah, I know, these are short words, but I had no idea that these were valid words AT ALL, which ultimate determined whether victory or defeat would come to me, and it just happened to be the latter. Now, onward to why I named this topic with this title. Well, even when I wasn't playing with Obi, I began playing on my own against other opponents, winning and losing in the process. Then, you know, I would fall asleep, and I'm literally playing the game in my sleep, the same way I do if I were to play Tetris or Tetris Attack for a prolonged period of time. It's...so amazing and at the same time, scary.
