No... don't change your avatar, I like your avatar, especially if thats you in the picture; that makes it all the better. Change your signature, it's not funny, and that cat has been around forever, less funny. I don't want to go all Alto on you but... you might want to think about changing your title, if you identify yourself as a "noob" to people, the longer people will think of you as a "noob," until it becomes ironic and that could take ages.
