I want to know how to make a boss be playable, then able to be rechallenged when a certain time is reached, like in Pokemon Pearl with the rival battle in the Fight Area, and other games I can't quite remember right now. How exactly can I do this efficiently and easily?

Re: How do you...?
What? I don't really understand your question. Do you mean make it so they "respawn?"
Do you want to be able to fight them whenever you please or something?
Try something like this:
Mode 1:
The Fight
Transition to Mode 2
Mode 2:
Wait for a day to pass (i'm sure you can figure this part out)
Transition to Mode 1
That might work... maybe...stodi no na ka cenba

Re: How do you...?
OR make one event/model/character that you place in a town/dungeon/map who you fight: "The Boss"
Then, make a second/third/etc event/model/character that shares the same model (ie:gladiator, color 2) as the first, but place this one in a seperate location, so that the player will run into and fight the first model, then later in the game fight the second/third/etc.
You could also just make the one character, and AFTER you fight the character, increase his/her/its stats. Then have invisible events trigger the battles so that you only need "waste" one of your 100 total possible characters to pull this off.
