Even if you've never intended on having children, most people have prefered names picked out for each sex. Here are some of mine:

Boy:
Ian Malcolm (love JP)
Gabriel Scott
Leonard Scott

Girl:

Katarina Marie (Kata Mari )
Alexis ______ (haven't come up with a middle name for this one)
Chloe Brianna (still love 24)

Also, I looked at babynames.com, and WTF is up with boy names that end in den/don dominating the top ten? Like Aiden, Braden, Kaden, and Jaden? I swear one Saturday at work I saw three kids named Kaden after they all came in following a soccer tournament. I think Kaden is a horrific name. I'd sooner call my son Bort than that.

I think naming kids after something/someone on a TV show/Video Game is horrific...I mean really...in 2020 the kid is going to realize that she was named after some 2000's show...thats like me(born in 1982) saying I was named after a character from the Andy Griffith Show(from the 1960's)...quite embarrassing really IMO.

I like names that isnt intentionally misspelled just so theyd be different, I mean really, youre not doing anything but setting your kid up for a hard life having to spell out their name everytime someone asks for it.(i.e. Jesicka, Anjela, kristian)

Maybe Jessica, but I think that would make my hot daughter seem even hotter, and I don't know if I want that

As for boys, I have no idea. Boy names don't have the same aesthetic appeal as girl names.

I'm thinking Annabelle Mae for a girl and Trenton Cole or something for a boy. Old-fashioned.

Not that I can foresee wanting kids in the next... decade.

Remember that the best names are names that sound good both as an adult and a child. Like Lenny, Alex, Doug, Michelle, etc.

I doubt I'll ever have kids, and if I ever want to raise a child, I'd adopt.

In most cases, I'd agree with this, but I got my first name because my dad was a big fan of Sean Connery, so it can work on occasion. To wit:

Ashley Riot, it has cache whether it's a boy or a girl.
