    Help Wanted

I need help with my game...bad. Basiclly, I'd like to have three people to collaborate my game ideas with. All three people need need to have experience with RPGM 2. Two people must have a good amount of experience with this game and the third person needs to be at least passable but good at designing exteriors and interiors of buildings. Just as important, all three of you must have some skills with story-telling. THIS IS A MUST! I'd truly appreciate it if three of you would come to help me!

Opps, I didn't mention that this will be handled with a social group. Oh, and if possible, I'd like the three volunteers to be actively involved with the whole thing.

Note: I am in no way asking any of you to develop my game. I will be handling the whole game development process. I just need people to toss around game ideas with, find out what is good, bad, and just plain won't work.

      Re: Help Wanted

Well, it's been about two weeks since I posted this. I guess none of you want to help me. Not one stinkin' reply, not one. That's actually a bad reflection on RPG Maker Pavilion. Here I thought this forum was supposed to be about helping people and encourging growth and development. Guess not.

        Re: Help Wanted

Well, let me be the first to reply and break your triple post. A lot of us here either do not make games at all, or are busy with their own projects, especially seeing as how the contest deadline is coming up in a matter of months.

My advice to you, Bob (if I may call you that), is to pour some time into a game by yourself, tweak it to your liking, and release it to the community. If people see that you have the motivation and ambition to make a game by yourself, and if it turns out to be fairly good, and maybe gets some buzz in the community, you are MUCH more likely to get a response to a thread like this. As it is, nobody knows anything about you or what kind of games you make, or your work habits, or anything, and therefore, are probably reticent to volunteer to collaborate with you. You are an unproven commodity (and I'm only using that word for lack of a better one) at this point.

Brainstorm an idea by and for yourself, pour your heart into it, release it, and it'll show.
B****ing about how it reflects so badly on the Pavilion that nobody is responding to your semi-desperate plea for help IS NOT going to get you volunteers.

So, yeah. Right there, I just gave you constructive criticism, tried to help you, and encouraged your growth. Now do not presume to judge this place and everyone here.

        Good day.

Thanks for the constructive criticism (I think). Your right on a lotta points. Maybe I am a bit out of line saying that nobody wants to help me and that's a bad reflection on the Pav. I guess I'm just a little frustrated. Sorry...
