My Trip To The Lake Today.

I have a digital camera now, but it's a rather lame one. It was a gift, so I appreciate it, but the picture quality is lame. Time to get a better camera, but that will be a while.

I like to take pictures of nature and stuff, so I went out to good ol' Kelly lake in Burton MI. Looks more like a pond to me, but no sense getting technical.


There wasn't much of anything interesting today but I had some fun. Mainly I wanted to come out and snap some pictures of the turtles that live there, unfrotunately none of them wanted to come out today, and the only wildlife around were geese.

Oh look, here are some geese!


They don't like me very much apparently. What have I ever done to them?


Yep, they're gone.


Wow! A new family has hatched.


Here's a nice close up.


The new family decided to come out to the shore.


I guess these ones don't like me either. This goose in particular is telling me to get away and charged at me.

As soon as they are out, I'll photograph them. I'm wondering if they are even out of hibernation yet, as it is pretty cold at night here.
