From another source, they're saying they may have the first pictures available tonight. Probably tomorrow at the latest I assume.
Basically this thing is going to dig to find out what kind of chemicals are in Mars' soil, hopefully they'll find evidence of water or past life.
PASADENA, Calif. - NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander has apparently survived the fiery plunge through the Martian atmosphere and landed on the red planet's arctic plains, with mission scientists eagerly awaiting word on the health of the spacecraft.
