    Yay, I didn't die. (Update: MIGHT STILL DIE)

    Well I had emergency surgery last night and ended up having my Gallbladder removed. 4 inscisions and a lot of pain later but I'm home and ok.


    I had a weird pain on the 16th and it was terrible so I went to the hospital. They didn't really do anything because they thought it was severe acid reflux. But then I had the same horrible pain every day until yesterday when I could take it any more and was screaming in pain and throwng up contstantly.

    I went to emergency and they gave me an ultrasound and xray and then within 20 mins I was put under for the surgery.

    It was scary as hell.

        I'm glad you survived your surgery. Are you feeling all right now? Your typing is a little below your normal standards; Are you still feeling a little woozy?

            Yeah I noticed my typing. I'm stilla bit out of it. More tired than anything. Sorry.

            EDITED: I went back and tried to fix my typos.


            The only reason I'm on the computer right now is they want me to try and sit up for a while where I was laying down all last night and today.

                          That sucks. My mom had to have hers removed a few years ago, they only had to make one small incision with her(some method using that newfangled technology I've been hearing about) but she was not in the best shape afterwards.

                            I'm glad you're okay!

                            In case anyone didn't know, the gallbladder is responsible for storing bile created in the liver, which is used to digest fats in the small intestine. The body functions fine without it, though it may not be able to process large quantities of fats in a short period of time without the gallbladder reserves.

                            (some method using that newfangled technology I've been hearing about)
                            Laparoscopy! I was seriously just reading about this on wikipedia yesterday (I started out reading about robots).

                              Laparoscopy is what I had. They made 3 very small cuts and one right in my belly button to put the scope it.

                              The doctor was suprised that I had an attack every day since the 16th and didn't bother goin in until the 23rd.
