Re: Web Users are "Selfish and Impatient"
I don't really see why they put that headline on that article. It's not talking about how web users are getting selfish; it's talking about how web users are getting tired of web sites that are filled with bull crap that they don't want or need.
Re: Web Users are "Selfish and Impatient"
Well, it does **** me off when I want to get cheat codes for a video game, but I get redirected to a full page ad first. NO ONE WANTS TO FIND OLD CLASSMATES!
Re: Web Users are "Selfish and Impatient"
As a website development guy. This is a no brainer. Heck there are rules and stuff to make it easy and efficiant. It takes 11 seconds to see if a person will stay at your website or not.

Re: Web Users are "Selfish and Impatient"
So what? The novelty of the web has worn off, people use it because it's quick and convenient. They know what they're doing wit it these days. They don't want to fart around with ads or pop-ups and stuff that slows the browser down.
Re: Web Users are "Selfish and Impatient"
You know what I hate. Those flash ads to cover up the entire screen and you have to find the tiny little close button hidden somewhere on it. It figures blocking pop-ups would just inspire them to make something more annoying.
