There is a small community devoted entirely to saving Surge. www.savesurge.org is updated DAILY.

I almost hadn't noticed Surge wasn't around anymore until many months ago when my brother mentioned his work had Surge in their fountain. Sadly, Coca-cola no longer even produces the Syrup!

Honestly, did any of you guys prefer Surge over Mountain Dew like me? I loved Surge...I loved it...

I never drank the stuff.

but in high school, me and miko would randomly scream "surge!" in unison and then run haphazardly down the hallway in a race to the vending machine, that did not sell surge. we eventually got around 10 other people to start taking part in the ritual, but only the two of us could start a surge-race.

for those that dont remember, we essentially spontaneously recreated the commercials for it.

Mountain Dew has waaaay too much sugar in it for me. I get sick just from a can. Give me a Full Throttle any day.

Surge prolly won't come back. It's like the marijuana of sodas. Only... there's no more of it.

If you pychos want sugar filled soda, then go to South America, where the normal coke feels like 90% sugar, and 10% coke....


I had a hard time drinking their sodas, because they were too sweet.
