Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium

I just bought this game randomly last week and just finished it. I really really loved it a lot. The only other Phantasy Star game I have is III and although I really enjoyed that one too (despite many people's hatred for it) PSIV was clearly better.

But "Chaz" is the worst hero name ever. Almost as bad as "butz".

And I love the inter-species hook up of Chaz and Rika! Get that cat-girl!

    Thoughts?

    Memories?

I played it when I was a kid. I liked it, though I stopped after I got Demi for some reason.

I should finish that game up.

Definatly the best of the Phantasy Star games, it ****es me off that they wouldn't put it on any of these new fangled compliations that they're release (like 1-3 on GBA and now PS2).

It was the cutscenes that made this game amazing, that cannot be denied. But the character's where memorable. I liked crushing Zio once and for all, and crashing my shuttle into lecherous Raja's temple.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

Raja was sweet. I choose him for my final party.

And I think the PS2 one (if it ever gets made) will consist of I, II, and IV. Excluding III because most people hate it for some reason.

I don't get it either, the whole multiple generations thing was way cool.

I couldn't agree more and I don't know why no other game has done this.

Oh god, this game is awesome. I rented it all the time when I was little and got right up to the last boss, but never beat him. Now I'm working on it again.

Namco had a game called Dragon Valor or something for the PS that had multiple generations of heroes.

This game was so fun. I really got to liking it when I discovered a few secret areas early on. That game was loaded with sidequests, and you didn't have to wait until the end of the game to complete them.

Plus there was the zombie town on Dezolis, I do recall its name being Meese. A zombie town! I was in love with this game...

Eh, never heard of it. Was it any good?

                        That was AWESOME!

This is one of the few RPG games I've ever finished next to FF6 and Skies of Arcadia. One of my favorite games.

I still don't see how this game can be so good when the previous 3 made me hurl.

Perhaps that's why it's about $40 at my local shop. And the others... aren't.

                            ...and that's why.

I haven't played the other three, but I own this one. Haven't finished it yet. I think my last bit of progress was I had just found that android girl (don't think she's a cat; she just has strange ears), and am supposed to go to a castle/tower past a field of quicksand or something. I'm not sure, it's been a while since I played. I like the game, and I probably would have finished it had I not aquired a copy of FF6 on SNES. I'll have to get back on it sometime.
