    I need fashion advice. QUIIIIICK.

Ok, I'm gonna buy some new clothes very soon, and I wanna know what you guys(preferably the women) think looks good on a guy. While I do have a good grasp on color coding, advice on good color combos wouldn't hurt either!

I'm looking for advice on an outfit like a tee w/jeans/khakis/shoes. I'm reluctant to wear shorts though.

I lost quite a bit of weight, and wanna ditch my old style of dark clothes, and go for slightly lighter, more colorful stuff. I'd appreciate any inputs.

well forget what women think. you should just be comfortable in what you're wearing. as long as you match colors for the most part and are well to semi- groomed, i think you should be okay.

i dont wear jeans, so i can't say what goes with them. i wear khakis or shorts because denim is too heavy for a ninja. so, personally, whenever i shop, i go for your basic solid colored tshirts and khakis (i prefer a darker toned). you could get a white tshirt along with a collared shirt to go over it, or go for something like bigfoot mentioned. there are some things that just dont go out of style.

and since you are seeking lighter, more colorful stuff as you say, well then buy some! take a look at what colors you could see yourself in and try it out.

I only buy shirts that say funny things on them. And jeans in either blue or black. What else would one need?

Wear something redish-brown with blue jeans. Preferably a button-down.

            Also black shoes.

I realized a bit over a year ago that in fact, not looking like **** gets you more attention from females.

Oh, yeah I forgot shoes. I just go when there's a buy one get one half off sale and buy the two cheapest pairs that fit comfortably. One black or dark blue and the other white or some other light color.

                        Eaasy.

Find yourself a cool t-shirt, and a zip-up hoody from like H&M or Heritage and buy some nice lookin' jeans. All of this form fitting. Now you're styling.

I'm a big fan of the James Dean "t-shirt and jeans" look.

I'm a big T-shirt and jeans guy. It's easy and I don't care much about making a statement anyway, but the fact is, unless you're already super attractive, I've discovered it doesn't do much for anyone.

On the first day of classes last semester, I put on jeans and a thin, light, solid-colored short-sleeve T-shirt, like usual. But then I got this CRAZY idea. I took this other, light-colored, striped, button-down shirt on top of THAT, rolled up the sleeves and left the top three or so buttons undone.

When I was waiting for the elevator on the way to class, this really cute girl who I've never met before turned around and introduced herself to me without any provocation. I tried the outfit out again later on, and a girl-friend of mine told me I looked nice.

I hadn't showered for two days or washed my jeans for about a week - it was all in the T-shirt/button-down C-C-C-C-COMBO. Just find some nice, subtle colors that work for you - pale pastels or something earthy. After that, it's as easy as putting one thing on top of another.

And, man, only this past year did I learn how important it is to buy clothes that fit you! Baggy clothes are for fat people, and I'm not one of those anymore. Like Caciss said, make sure it fits your form. SHOW OFF THE GOODS.

Disreguard this if you're looking to get laid.

Go get some male fashion mags and find something you like. Then mimic that look.

When you're out shopping take a female that's around your age. A sister or a friend, whatever. Or find an outfit and ask a female working.
