    Pixar's Next Classic: Wall-E

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=fCcCZOSAtxA

It's so beautiful! Ratatouille was amazing last year, and from the looks of this preview, this movie is near the top of my list for movies to see this summer.

P.S. This will be the last summer movie topic I make this year. Let the other Pavvies put in some work around Free Forum. :P

Should be pretty good. Not getting my hopes up too much.

Every movie Pixar makes is absolute gold. With Pixar, what can go wrong!?

I have not seen the rat movie, and yes, cars sucked. finding nemo put me to sleep in the theater (I blame this on the background almost always just being solid blue, and every character being essentially a talking head). I also hated both toy story movies.

I have hope for this though.

I also didn't like Finding Nemo or the Rat movie or Cars. However The Incredibles I thought was awesome.

I think it's funny when people use that terminology. Classic indicates status of something, when looked at years down the line, has endured, become a cultural icon, etc.

Classic cars, classic rock, ipod classic, classic controller setup for video games, etc....these all came to be considered classic YEARS down the line, NOT upon their original release.

So the words "next" and "classic" seem a bit incongruent...although, we all know that pretty much anything Pixar does WILL be considered classic years down the line. I just thought the semantics of your topic title were amusing.

I don't think Pixar's been around long enough for even Toy Story to be considered a "classic." And I don't care what TCM has to say about it.

Ratatouille will be a classic eaaaaaasy.

Wall-E looks like it will be great and I look forward to it VERY MUCH.

I was responding to Duel's post.

Though I am looking forward to Wall-E, mainly just due to the fact I love robots.

Not giant mechs or anything lame like that. Just.... Robots...

Pixar is kind of hit or miss with me. The ones I enjoyed most are Toy Story 2 and Ratatouille.

I think this movie will be good but after the amazing Ratatouille I think to really get my hopes up for this film will be to just set up for a disappointment.

Also Valk you should probably see a doctor about that problem.
