We must've all had our fair share of strange events occuring in life, whether they were clumsy, lucky, food-related, video game-related, or just plain happening.
So, my question to you all is basically to describe that wacky event if you'd like. Mine was when I was playing Pokemon Gold Version when I was 9 (remeber this is NOT completely video game related, you can post some waxky occurance that happened otherwise), and I was fighting the Steel-Type leader, Jasmine. My Togepi had a really weak attack (Pound, Tackle... ???) and Metronome. It was Lv15. All there was left was a fully healed Steelix Lv35 and my Togepi. No Revives, and an assurance that if I was hit by Steelix only attack left (Iron Tail), I was done for. I used Togepi's Metronome. Octazooka was used. It was my only move that lowered Accuracy that ever happened in the fight. I use another Metronome. Thanks to Steelix's Sunny Day, the Solarbeam that happened needed no charge. I started using Pound. Hyper Potion. Continued. Steelix kept missing with Iron Tail. It probably at this point had 5PP left by the time the second Hyper Potion was used. Next few Metronomes failed me. Steelix must have been down to his last Iron Tail. I continue using Metronome. the 8th, maybe 9th turned out to be Fire Blast. With such a high level difference, he still had 1/4 health, and he began using Struggle. He continued, miraculously, to miss. I used Pound continually, unceasingly, and eventually I ran down to my last 10. Pulled out an Elixir. My ONLY one. Steelix somehow continued to miss. Last Metronome was Sand-Attack. So I lied. 2, only 2 moves lowered his accuracy. He continued to miss while I pounded him. With each one doing only 1-2 damage, I was really thinking it was over. He was at about 1/4. No Hyper Potion... I finished the battle, unbelievably, and my Togepi, needless to say, leveled up to Lv17. Next level, he evolved.
True story. Wacky, true, and the most important part, a test of my luck and faith in the game's unnatural coding screw-ups.
