      What I find funny is the article said even if Microsoft and Yahoo merge it would still trail Google, so apparently people dont use yahoo.

      I used to until they redid their search engine, its no good now.

        Yes, lots of people. I'm not one of them, but their other services besides searching are damned popular.

          That's wrong though since more people use Yahoo than Google.

          I use Yahoo Mail, I like getting on thier My Station radio thing somtimes. I use it for showtimes at theatres, weather broadcasts...

          I use it a lot more than I would like to admit

                That's WAY too many zeroes to be spending on ANYTHING.

                I'd buy Yahoo for a dollar.

                  With the other services Yahoo actually gets more traffic than Google does according to Compete.com.

                      You know it's bad when it filters out GOOD mail. I almost lost a date because of the stupid system. ;_;

                          I know, but the article mentions the search feature more then any other feature, so Im guessing thats why Microsoft wants to buy them.

                          The site also says that yahoo has nearly 38% of all searches while Google leads with 49%...or close to that, I closed the article so I cant remember exactly.

                            For a long time I used Yahoo instead of Google, to prove some kind of point.

                            And then I started using Safari, so Google became a new part of my life.

                            My Yahoo Mail account is like a festering corpse. I return to it once in a while to poke it with a stick and see what's grown.
